Situated in the Green Mountains of Vermont, Gifford Medical Center serves the greater Washington County area. Challenged by the requirements to store and protect classified patient information, Gifford was in dire need of an upgrade for their central server room. The hospital’s decision makers understood the value New England Air Systems design/build team brings to a project, and they asked us to partner with them in making this new server a reality.
Understanding the current load and future needs of the space, we designed an HVAC system around two Liebert split system cooling units. The units can work separately or in tandem, if conditions require it, and provide the owner with peace of mind knowing there is redundancy and extra capacity should the hospital add to their existing system.
Gifford Medical Center now has the infrastructure in place to store its most critical information, with conditions that allow their server to work at optimal performance.
