With close to 5,000 hours and about 2 ½ months to complete, New England Air Systems installed multiple new systems for the Highgate Elementary School.
A new HRU and RTU was installed on steel frames to help serve the north side classrooms and gymnasium. The ductwork required for this was fabricated by our shop and installed throughout the existing school attic and above the drop ceilings.
In the southside classrooms, we installed (4) HRU systems with remote condensers including hot gas bypass to allow for ventilation and dehumidification. This was accompanied by (21) VAVs with reheat coils and the heat piping that goes along with it.
